Name: Kenran
We are on a small island of North Carolina that is meant to be a Flawless or Gorgeous society, for only kids. Kenran is our name, we are Keranians. Kenran means gorgeous in Japanese. We elected this name because we are trying to make a gorgeous society that all will want to live in.
It's a nice name, and a nice idea, but I feel like it's a little bit shallow. What if somebody isn't absolutley gorgeous? Will they be an outcast in Kenran?
ReplyDeleteIm with Kayla on this one, what exactly is gorgeous in the society? The island or the people? Or the beliefs?
ReplyDeletewhat happens when people get older? will they be kicked out of kenran?
ReplyDeletePeople don't have to be beautiful or gorgeous to live on our island. We are saying that we want society to be gorgeous. People can be as old as the oldest founder, if they are older than that founder, they cannot join.
ReplyDeleteBut what about when they grow up? Does the natural order of things (like aging) stop on Kenran? Is Kenran magical!!!!?
ReplyDeleteThat would be pretty cool.
What about when the oldest founder grows up? Because then, they aren't a kid anymore.
Kenran is not magical. The founders can still grow up. No one that is older than the oldest founder can join Kenran. When the oldest founder grows up, anyone younger than them can join. Basically, no adults in the current society can come to Kenran.
